Hi everyone! I’m Carla, the owner and trainer behind CSM Equestrian LLC, and I’m so excited to finally introduce myself and share this new chapter with you!

I’m 26 years old, originally from Germany, and now based in the United States. I’ve been riding horses since I was five years old, and for the past seven years I’ve had the privilege of riding and training professionally, with a particular passion for dressage and helping horses and riders reach their full potential.

Throughout my career, I’ve been fortunate to:

• Earn my USDF Bronze and Silver Medals with Distinction

• Train and ride a horse to become the 2022 Third Level Horse of the Year

• Win the PSG California Regional Open Championships 2025

• Went to the Festival of Champions in 2021 for the five year old test and 2022 for the six year old test

• Successfully shown horses from Training Level through Intermediate I

But for me, dressage is about so much more than scores and ribbons. I believe in developing each horse and rider as an individual, building a strong foundation, and creating a partnership based on trust, confidence, correct training, and, most importantly, enjoyment.

Through CSM Equestrian, I offer dressage training, training rides, and lessons for riders and horses of all levels in the San Antonio area. Whether you’re just beginning your dressage journey, returning to the saddle, or working toward your next competition goal, I’d love to help you and your horse along the way.

The horses pictured here are two of my own training horses—one successfully showing at Third Level and the other at Intermediate I. They’ve taught me so much throughout our journey together, and I’m excited to share more of that journey with you!

I’m incredibly grateful for the horses, trainers, mentors, and people who have helped me get to this point, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us.
